This essay, based on the Monitoring hypothesis, the theory of musicology and multiple intelligence theory, aims to discuss and analyze the application of popular songs in Chinese Classes in Hwajeon Elementary School Incheon Korea. The present paper explores the possibility and availability of popular songs application in Chinese classes in Korean Hwajeon Elementary School. The paper also analyzes the standard of how to select proper popular songs which are suitable to use in Chinese classes in Korea elementary school, and how to teach Chinese pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar with the help of the songs carefully chosen in Chinese classes. Besides, the paper also discusses the effect of popular songs in Chinese teaching, both negative and positive effects are included. |
