Class is an important place for students' personalized and social development,and it is a formal group for the school to carry out purposeful and planned education for students.However,there are many informal groups in this formal group,which together form the basis of class interpersonal relationship.These have both positive and negative effects on class management.So how to improve the class informal group management strategy,give full play to its positive role,reduce or eliminate its negative role,is an important issue faced by every educator,especially the head teacher.This study finds out the problems in the use of informal group management strategies in junior middle school classes through interviews: the concept of teachers' management of informal groups in class is not in place,teachers lack the method of using informal group management strategies in class,and teachers ignore the actual effect of informal group management strategies in class.After analyzing and integrating these problems,combined with the actual situation,this paper makes an in-depth exploration on the causes of the problems.Based on the interpersonal relationship theory and group behavior theory,this study selects class 1,Grade 8 of L school as the research object,and improves the class informal group management strategy through the method of action research.Action research is divided into two rounds.The first round of action research focuses on different informal groups in the process of carrying out various class activities by creating communication situations,establishing interest groups,and implementing incentive strategies in a planned and step-by-step way to promote the class informal groups to play a positive role.The second round of action research aims at the anomie behavior of class informal group members,and carries out education and punishment on them,so as to restrain or eliminate their negative effects.It is found that different treatment of different types of informal groups is conducive to improving the quality of class management;Creating class communication situation and reasonably dividing groups are conducive to promoting interpersonal relationship among groups;Reasonable use of the right of reward and punishment is conducive to the actual effect of the class informal group management strategy.
