Fairy tales is an important style that pupils like it very much,it plays an important role in primary language teaching.it originates from the spiritual world of human beings,and closely related to the Human’s Soul,its important function has long been recognized by people,it’s not only help students to improve their learning interest,but also contribute to cultivating their imagination,thinking ability,creative spirit,aesthetic ability,the ability to distinguish right from wrong and so on,therefore,we should pay more attention to fairy tales,and to realize its own value better.About fairy tales teaching of medium and high grades in primary school,how to make full use of the positive role of fairy tales to promote the development of students is worthy of all Chinese teachers to think and study deeply.Firstly,this paper introduced the important role of fairy tales and the theoretical foundation of Fairy Tale Teaching,then developed present situation investigation and analysis to fairy tales teaching of medium and high grades in primary school,including the investigation and analysis that the selection of fairy tales in Chinese textbooks of medium and high grades in primary school;the investigation and analysis of the relevant attitudes of fairy tales for medium and high grades students、teachers and the parents of medium and high grades students.at the same time, two primary school teachers were interviewed,and the results of the interview were analyzed,in the end,the strategies and suggestions of improving fairy tales teaching of medium and high grades in primary school were put forward by the information that obtained from the investigation and interview,including optimization teaching strategies of fairy tales for medium and high grades teachers,it includes improve the quality of teachers’ fairy tales teaching and the quality of education and teaching、guide students to change the values of fairy tales,pay attention to students’ extracurricular reading of fairy tales and guide students to write fairy tales;the improvement strategies for the parents of medium and high grades students,it includes change the misconceptions to fairy tales、to buy excellent fairy tales for children and set a good example of reading fairy tales for children;the suggestions for the Chinese textbook writers of medium and high grades in primary school,it includes increase the quantity of fairy tales to the textbook、it should be scientific and rational to select the types of fairy tales、weaken the moral preaching so that to make this a little bit more interesting and to maintain the integrity of the original fairy tale as far as possible.Fairy tales teaching about medium and high grades in primary school is an important field that can’t be ignored, I hope that these strategies and suggestions can play a guiding role to the fairy tales teaching of medium and high grades in primary school.
