Problems And Countermeasures Of University Teaching Supervision

The teaching supervision of university in our country is gradually established and developed since the mid 1990 s, which has been nearly 20 years. A lot of scholars have carried out some researches on the teaching supervision in colleges, universities, government and higher education institutions. The research involves the orientation and function of supervision, the system and the system, the operation mechanism, the team construction and so on. In practice, teaching supervision in colleges and universities crosses almost all colleges and universities, which has increasingly become an indispensable effective of colleges and universities engaged in teaching quality management and improve the personnel training quality. However, from the overall analysis, especially compared with the supervision of basic education, our country’s teaching supervision work of university is still in its initial stage which has not yet issued a clear legal document. The content and functions of the university supervision is not clear, institutional setting and lack of basic norms. All these problems seriously affect the normal development of college teaching supervision.Our country is a big country but not a power of higher education. After the reform and opening up, China’s higher education has entered an important historical stage in the development of the connotation of higher education. The core of the enhancing the connotation is to improve the quality of teaching, which is the eternal theme of education development strategy and is the only way to built the powerful nation that colleges and universities in market competition in the survival and development of the magic weapon of choice. Improving the teaching quality is a systematic project, which involves quality standards and quality management. In the internal management system of many colleges and universities, teaching supervision is the main force in teaching quality management. They play a very important role in strengthening the teaching quality monitoring.This paper studies university teaching supervision home and abroad to sort out the meaning of the teaching supervision from concept, theoretical foundation, location, role and function aspects, analyzing the meaning and importance of the existence of educational supervisors elaborate. It is a popular development and the needs of the teaching quality monitoring and is the formation of decision-making, execution and monitoring the needs of the three systems, at the same time still teaching tube department communication and coordination, teachers and students relations. Through the research and analysis on problems of educational supervisors, the paper reveals the current problems: not enough research on the steering, the steering system to be sound, supervising the work of a single model, do not pay attention to the supervision team building and reasonable oversight and other issues, combined with related investigations analyzed. Finally, focusing on the current situation of teaching supervision, the paper proposes and constructs the corresponding countermeasures: First, we must strengthen the supervision of research to improve the theoretical level; the second is to strengthen the institutional and legal system, establishing a supervisory position; the third is to optimization model and to build its comprehensive diversified operation; the fourth is to improve team building to ensure the supervision of the quality and other aspects of concrete measures to build up the hope that in the future to further strengthen the supervision of their university studies, and further enhance the quality of teaching monitoring and improve the quality of teaching and learning that will have a reference.
