Secondary vocational education is an important part of national education system, and its quality has a profound influence on social and economic development. Secondary vocational schools as the main body of secondary vocational education, is carrying out the task of cultivating professional talents. Mathematics is a basic course of secondary vocational schools, its teaching quality and teaching effect is of great significance for the secondary vocational education. In the moment, however, mathematics learning has become a problem restricting the development of secondary vocational education to deepen, on the one hand, in the study mathematics, students are not willing to learn bad math, on the other hand, teacher cannot effectively mobilize the enthusiasm and motivation of students to learn math, to teach mathematics and the "headache". In fact, the secondary vocational school student mathematics learning and teaching effect is not good in the final analysis or because of a shortage of students’ ability in mathematics learning. Vocational schools in order to get a bigger development, we must promote teaching contents, course system, teaching methods, teaching means and so on a series of reform and innovation, system fundamentally improve the learning ability of students.For secondary vocational school students, the ability to learn to make good use of mathematical knowledge, enhance mathematics learning systematically is an important issue to be solved. It is also the starting point and the end result of this study. Therefore, this study is based on the vocational school students, supported with the theory of education, psychology and other disciplines. In what is clearly defined mathematical ability and a deep understanding of the situation on the basis of mathematical learning of students in vocational schools, the use of literature study, questionnaires, in-depth interviews and other methods to produce a detailed analysis of the students in the learning process of mathematics crux of the problem. From the perspective of structural analysis on mathematics learning, the vocational school students’ math learning structural elements are identified as computing ability, spatial imagination ability, logical thinking ability and application conversion capability. Based on the perspective of the four elements, explored the students’ learning ability, and then summed up the factors which influence mathematics learning ability. This paper describes the strategies to upgrade vocational school students’ math learning ability, which include cultivating the students the correct learn concept and initiative, strengthen the capacity to support mathematics curriculum for professional training, improve learning ability examination and evaluation system, focusing on the systematic structure to enhance math skills four aspects were discussed in detail, efforts to enhance the system of vocational students learning mathematics to solve secondary vocational school students to learn mathematics difficultly, teachers teach mathematics difficult this problem.
