Maintenance electrician is one of the professional courses of Mechanical electronic professions of secondary vocational school. The course has a distinctive feature, which is easy calculation, and much to understand and practice. It is a question for all vocational education researchers of how to intrigue students to attend this course with interests and pleasure, and get the knowledge and techniques of maintenance electrician. The article mainly discusses about how to apply action-oriented teaching mode into the course design and teaching of Maintenance Electrician of engineering major of secondary vocational school, and exploring the appliance of advanced Germany teaching ideas into our electrician-professional courses of secondary vocational school, in order to find a teaching mode more suitable for the professional courses of Mechanical electronic professions of secondary vocational school and nurturing skilled electricians that the society is need of via teaching reforms.The author combines the research with the high practicalness feature of the course, takes examples of two common used teaching methods in action-oriented teaching mode, and researches about the experiment design, selection and appliance of teaching methods of action-oriented teaching mode, and discusses about the influence of the mode on students’ comprehensive vocational competence. By interviewing enterprises and graduates and investigating the demands of enterprises for maintenance electricians, we summarize and analyze the interviews to support the teaching goals and contents of course. Via the questionnaires filled by engineering majored students and teachers of modern vocational school in Xingtai, their situation is analyzed and existing problems in maintenance electrician education are forward understood, in order to provide firsthand information for the research. Via experimentation, the feasibility of the research is assessed. I considered the hardware and software conditions as education resource; the experimental subjects are engineering-majored students of modern vocational school in Xingtai. The classes are divided into experimental group and control group. By comparison and analysis of the two groups before and after the experiment, the feasibility and necessity of the appliance of action-oriented teaching mode into maintenance electrician education is confirmed. Before the experiment, the author gave out questionnaires to students of two groups asking about conditions like grades and studying initiative and then analyzes data, the result is considered as data before measurement. After comparison experiment carried out for one semester, the second questionnaire is given out to two group’s students. By summarizing, comparing and analyzing the results, it is tested and verified that action-oriented teaching mode makes great difference in improving the initiative of attending maintenance electrician courses, their grades, team spirits and creativity. The mode helps student master professional techniques and become more adapted to society.The result show that, appliance of action-oriented teaching mode in maintenance electrician course can help students improve their professional quality and comprehensive vocational competence, thus nurturing skilled electricians required by our society.
