Nowadays is the golden age of vocational education in China, The 18th National Congress clearly put forward to accelerate the development of the modern vocational education, further perfect the system of the modern vocational education. The aim of vocational education is not only to cultivate talents with a superb skill but also the cultivation of comprehensive qualities of high skilled personnel; reach good occupation education’s full potential in the socialist construction of a harmonious society, on the one hand, the need to attach great importance to the whole society and supported by the society improve the skill talented person’s social status; on the other hand, more need the education front unremitting efforts, deepen the teaching reform, improve the quality of education. Though higher vocational mathematics is not vocational skill course, it is the basic course which is very important. Whether studying the higher vocational mathematics well or not is directly influent with the other course which is related to it. Whatsmore, it is related to students’life-long education. How to teach mathematics curriculum in vocational school well and how to improve the students’ mathematical learning interest and motivation have become an important research subject for the teachers in higher vocational schools.The paper constructs a positive psychological concept of higher mathematics teaching mode based on the theory of positive psychology, humanistic theory and appreciation education theory. By adopting the pre-test and post-test quasi-experiment design mode between the experimental group and control group to higher vocational college students, subjective well-being, learning motivation and academic achievement as criterion, the students of experimental group are dealt with vocational mathematics teaching implement with positive psychological concept, the control group, meanwhile, received traditional teaching of mathematics. After one semester’s experimentation, the result show that compared with the control group, the higher vocational mathematics teaching with positive psychology concept significantly enhance the students’ subjective well-being, learning motivation and academic achievement (P<0.05,P<0.01), while the mathematics performance of the traditional teaching improved a little, but did not reach significant level.By theoretical analysis and comparison of experimental data, higher vocational mathematics teaching of positive psychology concept should become the effective mode of higher vocational college class, it is worthy of further promotion.
