In order to cultivate the high quality talents meeting the needs of the 21st century, China has begun a vigorous basic education reform, to change the exam-oriented education to quality education. At present, the implementation of the curriculum reform is not so effective, especially for remote areas, the new curriculum reform is not promoted so optimistically because of shortage of teachers.Today, high school students are afraid of physics and teachers also anguish over the subject. High school students physics scores are not ideal and difficult to improve. Nowadays, many teachers still play the role of knowledge ’porters’.Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the he status of implementation of the new curriculum, find the problem and solution, and promote the new curriculum reform better than before.This thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is to propose a research background, research status, purpose and significance of the new curriculum reform, stating the theoretical basis of this research. The second part presents the basic situation of Burqin County High School and the new curriculum reform at the school, makes clear the object of study and research methods, analyzes the contents and results of the study. The third part analyzed the problems in implementation of curriculum reform. The factors included the student, several aspects of teacher, curriculum, organization and implementation of inquiry experiment teaching difficulties, teaching evaluation system, schools and social emphasis, family, etc. The fourth part mentioned the problems of high school physics new curriculum implementation and analyzes the reasons for the formation of the problem; try to propose strategies to solve problems effectively. Finally, the fifth part summarized the implementation status of the new curriculum reform, pointed out the problems and directions that we should strive.
