As a member of the Chinese cultural circle, Chinese characters has always existed in Korean history. Chinese characters are not strange to South Korean high school students. But I found that Chinese teaching in Korean high school is still the weak link, when I was teaching high school in South Korean. I used questionnaires, interviews, classroom observation, etc. for the further investigation of Korean high school teaching Chinese characters, analysising the problems of Korean high school Beginners Chinese Character Teaching and the causes of these problems, combined with practical to put forward practical and feasible suggestion. And strive to explore a set of Korean high school stage for zero-based Chinese Characters Teaching program.The first chapter, an overview of the main topics of the background and significance of this topic, and research and exploration about this topic in recent years,as well as some relevant literature to be taken advantage of focusing on the current situation of Chinese characters teaching about Korean primary school and secondary school. There is not many research papers, still need a lot of work to fill and enrich.A lot of research still have some limitations, and some countermeasures will not be achieved in a short time.The second chapter describes the development of the Korean characters education and Chinese character teaching cituation, the Korean Character Policy change resulted in more Korean people from all walks of varying levels of literacy. At the same time, introduce the situation of Chinese teaching in high school, and high school students’ based characters in Korea.The third chapter maks a situation investigation for Chinese character teaching in Korean high school,using questionnaires, interviews, classroom observation, etc.,summarized Korean high school Beginners Chinese Character Teaching problems: "less teaching hours", "teaching content from Integrated Textbook" "teachers avoid difficulties", "pay attention to hear oral communication", "means of teaching is simple", and one by one analyzes the causes of these problems.The forth chapter the author based on personal experience and teaching experience made corresponding recommendations: to enhance the status of teaching of Chinese characters, reasonable arrangements for teaching Chinese characters, focusing on the teaching of Chinese characters interesting, enhance the teaching level of Chinese teachers.
