The prose language is distinctly different from other styles’language, for its literariness is largely different from practical style’s language. In lyrically,the prose language is different from the language of poetry, novel, opera, and other literature works. The language of the prose is an important part reflecting the aesthetics value of the prose. The language teaching is also one of the breakthroughs in prose teaching of the middle school. Thus the problems of the prose teaching should naturally focus on the language teaching.Grasping the main line of the language teaching in aims, contents and method is undoubtedly a key point to improve the prose language teaching in class, and promote the language appreciation and analysis the effectiveness. In the tendency of examination, there are some problems of labeling, stylization analysis and others in essay language teaching.Students’ understanding in the prose language always only remains on the recognition of the literal meanings. They know nothing about the implication hidden the language, and have no point of analyzing the language like a dragonfly skimming the surface of the water. For this, based on the prose teaching theory, this thesis attempts to explore the advanced strategies of the prose language teaching in the light of its stylistic features from the three perspectives of the aims, contents and methods. There are five parts in this thesis, and its basic structures are as follows:The introduction mainly illustrates the research’s origin and its significance in the thesis, and the current research situation in prose language teaching. It also analyzes and arranges the existing research results, and makes a definition of the key conception "narrative prose" and other terminologies. In this research, the narrative prose belongs to the prose on the narrow sense, which emphasis on the narrative means of expressions.The first chapter introduces the existing problems and causes analysis in the prose language teaching. By researching the cases and literatures, the thesis concludes the existing problems in the language teaching, and then analyzes the causes of the problems. In the prose language teaching, there are some phenomena:severing the emotion and independently analyzing the language; theme first and labeling in analyzing the language; rhetoric for rhetoric’s sake and others. The reasons of the above phenomena are mainly for the teachers are used to teaching by their experience and easily influenced by the Chinese test approach. Teachers are lacked in the profession knowledge of the language teaching on the whole.The second chapter mainly refers to the theory of prose appreciation. By sorting out the theory, the author finds some theories that maybe are beneficial to the prose language teaching of middle school. For instance, language level theory, the text level theory and constructivism teaching theory. It also explores the reference of the prose language teaching of middle school.The third chapter refers to the stylistic feature of the narrative prose. The stylistic feature of the prose is an important element to confirm the contents of the language teaching and teaching methods. The prose’s stylistic features include the preface, truth, liberty, uniqueness and emotional restriction. The concisely emotional expression of the poetry makes the author pay more attention to the emotional restriction. Meanwhile, this thesis also puts forward that the language expressions of the prose need the emotional restriction while introducing the basically stylistic features.The fourth chapter, based on the stylistic feature of the prose and prose aesthetic theory, explores the advanced strategies of the prose language teaching from the aspects of the aims, contents and methods. The teaching aims to train the students’abilities; emotional understanding of the teaching contents strategies is the prerequisite of the prose language teaching; teaching methods finally aim at the function of the language.There are three features and innovations in the thesis:firstly, this thesis makes an integrity analysis for stylistic feature of the prose, and concludes the stylistic features of the preface, truth, liberty, uniqueness and emotional restriction.Secondly, the thesis puts forward the prose teaching should be based on the stylistic features, and also should use the relevant research result of the prose theory, which is the gist always neglected by the teachers in the middle school.Thirdly, the thesis explores the advanced strategies of the prose language teaching from the three aspects of the aims, contents and methods. Reading aloud is a common strategy in the prose language teaching, but the strategies of experiencing and intensive reading are hardly referred.
