Economic globalization becomes stronger in contemporary society,China keeps communicating with the developed countries as a developing one.Compared with that, however, the quality of the nation stays at a lower level. Therefor,specialists, scholars, medias and public opinions criticize the uncivilized behaviors and manage to alter the current situation. Instruction of the students’ practical activities could be operated in imparting the knowledge for the educators, promoting formation of the humanistic quality, because education itself could lift the spiritual space of human beings and develop the consciousness of subjectivity. The starting point and objective of education not only lie on the level of teaching knowledge, but also have a view to the comprehensive and sustainable development of people. Each discipline takes the responsibility of cultivating students’ humanistic quality from varying degrees at each stage, including discipline of Chinese absolutely. Chinese, as the most important part of humans culture, is the unity of instrumental and humanity.Humanistic quality denotes the stable relatively internal quality developed and formed from the humanistic knowledge that accepted by people and internally changed into personal quality, character and accomplishment in an easier way.There’re some problems happening cause education are often influenced by reality,such as exam-oriented education, although Chinese education is regarded as the best method to cultivate the humanistic quality of students.This article starts from the view of the humanistic quality and surveys the problems in the education of ancient poems and texts in junior high school. First of all,this thesis applying literature research method, observational method and questionnaire method on the basis of relative theories like, pedagogy, psychology andsubject pedagogy and etc, defines the concept of the humanistic quality and analyzes the current situation of the humanistic quality of junior school students, puts forward the viewpoint of promoting the students’ humanistic quality in the teaching of ancient poems and texts. Further more, this paper combines directing of senior high school entrance examination and the outcome of the questionnaire, and gives out the problems of teaching ancient poems and texts which influencing the humanistic quality of students: the deficiency of traditional culture, the absence of literacy combination and the default of in-depth insight. Aiming at the education problems above, strategies to promote the humanistic quality of students including: integration of traditional culture and ancient poems and texts; ancient poems and texts with guidance of writing; enhancement of enabling comprehensive exercises of the appreciation of ancient poems and texts, which come from three aspects: teaching thought, method and efficiency.
