At present, more and more international organizations and developed countries focus on curriculum system construction, according to students’ key competencies, also the related theory research and practice have formed an upsurge of research in China, with great changes in the academic circles and the practical level of school.This paper takes the F school in Shanghai as a case, using qualitative research methods, through participant observation, interviews and research materials mainly collecting materials, to analyze how to carry out the construction of school-based curriculum based on the students’ key competencies. This thesis includes six parts:the first part is the introduction, a detailed description of the research background, problem, object, the significance and the method, especially the analysis of the methods and materials; the second part is literature review. Through the analysis of the number and theme of these literature, there can be seen that the curriculum construction of students’ key competencies is becoming hot research topic based on the research with fewer studies at the school level, which reflects the value of this research; The third, four, five part of the paper the main body of the case analysis; the last part is the conclusion, which is mainly summary and Reflection on problems.Through the analysis of the whole process of the construction case of the school curriculum, we can summarize the main experiences of school-based curriculum construction based on key competencies. First, students’ key competencies become the "bull’s eye" of the whole construction of school-based curriculum; Second, a variety of courses meet together to achieve the success of "cultivating key competencies". Third, curriculum construction based on key competencies need multi-subject participation. Fourth, System construction provide protection to the reform of curriculum. Furthermore, there are some defects in the case, such as the " key competencies " logical relationship needs to be sorted out more clearly, the key competencies should be transform into specific academic competencies in the curriculum system, and schools need to establish a mechanism to evaluate the realization of students’ key competencies.Based on the above analysis, we can draw some conclusions. First of all, the curriculum construction based on students’ key competencies is becoming an important trend of the curriculum reform,which mains curriculum reform has paid more attention on the future world challenges; Secondly, the transformation from key competencies to discipline accomplishment is the key problem of deepening curriculum reform and landing competencies; Thirdly, multi-subject participation is an important feature of the modern curriculum development, which emphasizes different subjects in cooperation promoting the depth of the curriculum implementation.
