Fairy tales, one of the important genres in children’s literature. Fairy tale is full of fantasy, and easy to understand, nevertheless it accords with pupils ’ age characteristics as well as meets the curiosity of the students. Fairy tales take up a lot in the primary Chinese textbooks, especially account for a large proportion in low grade. So it plays a very important role in the development of children’s physical and psychological, it cultivates students’ literacy and reading ability, students’ thinking ability and imagination, pupils’ expression and performance ability, students’ aesthetic ability, and also cultivates their healthy personalityFrom the four aspects of selection, teaching, teachers and students of primary school, the author studied the problem that appeared in the Chinese fairy tale teaching in primary school as well as the reason of it, and puts forward some corresponding strategies. Now in the fairy teaching education, a series of phenomenon has appeared such as in the teaching of civilization is more, fantasy is low, and in the forms rewriting is higher, original is lower, the teachers value preaching, the principal status missed have appeared, which has been affecting the quality of fairy tale teaching. Combined with the fairy tales teaching problems and its influencing factors the author puts forward the strategies that reduce the excessive modification of the original fairy tale, enrich the text type, provide students with the fairy tales accord with their own characteristic, teachers need to improve their own quality, grasp the psychology of students, optimize teaching methods, and also the students needs to think more, experience more. The author hopes that through the study of Chinese fairy tales teaching in primary school, it can be able to cause the attention of the majority of Chinese educators, so as to enrich and perfect the teaching of primary school Chinese fairy tales, making the fairy tale a greater role in primary school Chinese.
