As an important carrier of campus culture,wall culture in primary school also has the educational value of cultivating students’ perfect personality and promoting their all-round development of personality.This study takes a primary school in Urumqi City as an example,mainly adopts observation method and interview method,goes deep into the school campus,observes the current situation of the construction of the school wall culture,analyzes the problems and causes of the campus wall culture,and then puts forward corresponding suggestions and thinking for the construction of the campus wall culture.This research is mainly divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,including the origin of the research,the purpose and significance of the research,the research status at home and abroad and the theoretical basis of the research,as well as the introduction of the research methods and research objects.The second part mainly presents the current situation of S primary school campus wall culture and the author’s analysis of its educational value;The third part,based on the analysis of the observation and interview results,summarizes the beneficial experience and the existing deficiency in the construction of school wall culture in S primary school.The fourth part analyzes the reasons for the existing problems according to the interview.The fifth part is mainly corresponding to the previous part of the problem,put forward the corresponding improvement strategy;The sixth part,based on the investigation and research of wall culture construction,carries on the education reflection.The study found that S Primary School has several experiences that can be used for reference in the construction of campus wall culture.The school pays attention to the building of campus cultural characteristics,pays attention to the harmony between the whole and parts in the planning and layout,and integrates traditional culture with The Times in the selection of content.However,according to the interview and observation,it is found that the wall culture of the school deviates from students’ life in terms of content,which is a difficult problem for students to understand.The form is fixed and stereotyped,which is difficult to attract students’ attention.Low participation and lack of subjectivity;The update cycle is long,and the maintenance and management of wall culture is not in place.Analyses the reasons of its existing problems,mainly due to the school leaders limited financial ability,the creation of wall culture drift with the tide;The head teacher’s time and energy are limited,and he holds the attitude of dealing with the school inspection for the construction of wall culture,and lacks the proper guidance for students.Students have fewer opportunities to participate in the creation of wall culture,and some of them have a low sense of self-efficacy,so they do not want to participate in the creation of wall culture,so they cannot experience the happiness of creating wall culture.Therefore,combined with the problem and the reason analysis,the author put forward several suggestions and thinking.
