After reading the text, Chinese teachers will analyze and explain the content with their felling and teaching practice so that to create meaningful classes. Novel is the integral part of Chinese textbooks. It has rich story-line and character, and it can reflect social background and rich connotation. Therefore, the ability of text interpretation can be reflected by interpret novels.There are some problems in the novel teaching of middle school at present. Utilitarianism interpretation. Some Chinese teachers interpret the text according to some relevant test questions and ignore the aesthetic value of novel texts. Superficial interpretation. They interpret the text relying on reference books or professors interpretation, and don’t interpret deeply by themselves and use it in the class. Excessive interpretation. They try to get the creativity and creative class so that ignore the intrinsic aesthetic value expression features of novels.Nowadays, many university professors, like Sun Shaozhen and Qian Liqun. They have their own views about text interpretation. The interpretation methods of Sun Shaozhen are reduction and comparison, and Qin Liqun uses the methods of knowing both the author and his time, restoring the text, and explaining the text by analyzing the title. Both of them exist some common characters. They discover internal emotions of the text, use various comparison methods, and exert relevant literature theory.As these two professors’ interpretation for researching, it can be explored new points about interpretation of novels by thinking of common characters. The enlightening significance to middle school teachers can be found with combining other teaching interpretation and instructional design of famous teachers. And Chinese teachers would be encouraged to interpret texts and transform into practical Chinese class. Take the opportunity of the novel teaching to make combine the Chinese teaching of middle school with Chinese course of university, it will have richer educational connotation and instructive meaning in the interpretation of middle school.
