In this pluralistic society, as the development and reform of education, have gradually become scientific and modern. After the founding of new Chinese, began to promote the comprehensive development of education, the feeling of color. At the beginning of the 20 th century, Chinese education ushered in a new member of the music discipline, overview of the development of music education, from curriculum neglected to pay attention to, indicating that the music’s position in education is gradually improving, the deeper the music in human development in possession of a significant proportion of the. The music teaching of Senior High School entered the classroom, a step by step development so far. Although the general high school music class has been in the country for many years, but due to the limitations and shortcomings of various aspects, there are still some objective problems in teaching. In a short lecture, how to arouse the students’ enthusiasm, from student’s heart starting to cultivate an interest, stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm and the spirit of exploration, and the teacher’s literacy, school teaching facilities and so on, these problems urgently need to be solved. In order to reflect the current situation of teaching high school music in different regions, the author to the district as a unit, select six district representatives, Luoyang City, Henan Province ordinary high school as the research object, mainly by literature method, questionnaire survey method, interview method, data statistics, surveys and interviews related to the leadership of schools, music teachers, students and teachers of other subjects.This paper is divided into five chapters, chapter one is introduction, expounds the topic purpose and significance, research status at home and abroad, research methods and ideas; Chapter 2 gives an overview of the development process of Chinese school music; in the third chapter, the questionnaire of Luoyang City senior high schools to conduct a comprehensive investigation; the fourth chapter of the survey results of the review and summary of, and to develop corresponding countermeasures. The third chapter and the fourth chapter as the center, mainly from the school music teaching environment, teaching equipment, management science, to the music teacher accomplishment and professional ability, educational philosophy, teaching methods, to students of music class attitude, the teachers of other subjects in the music class view detailed records; the fifth chapter from the music education of high school of Luoyang City to look forward to national high school music education development trend. Through the analysis of the current situation of music education in high schools of Luoyang, the music can be more close to the student’s physical and mental life, so that the quality of education into the campus, to explore a suitable for our high school music teaching way.
