Historical materials is an important medium for people to understand and study history. The current high school history not only in the teaching of the introduction of a large number of historical materials, and in the preparation of the test questions also appeared in a number of historical materials type questions. In recent years, historical materials question gradually become the main questions examines students basic knowledge of history and the cognitive abilities of the history, so either from the perspective of historical reference appendix or better training students’ history learning capability, the research of historical materials question meet deserves to be taken seriously.At present, there are quite a lot of research achievements about the application of historical materials in the historical examination questions, but there are some shortage is also very obvious, such as the narrow scope of study, and the lack of comprehensive and so on. In this paper, through systematic research historical materials in high school history test application, designed to help history teachers better understand the historical topic of regularity and characteristics, to pay attention to timely improvement methods in the teaching, training students’ history cognition; At the same time, to guide students to master a certain answer historical train of thought and method, from the historical materials to help them to correct understanding of history.This paper mainly has four most:The first part is about the definition and classification of the historical materials. Which discusses the historiography circle for historical materials definition, and according to the needs of research, this paper studies on the new interpretation of the definition and classification of historical materials.The second part discusses the historical materials value in the history examination questions establishment, this part mainly studies the historical materials and history test the depth of the hierarchy, the historical materials and historical knowledge to examine the basis, middle school history, historical thinking ability to link, this is the study of the theoretical foundation of the historical materials question.The third part is the introduction of the high school history examination of the historical materials test. From the two aspects of the nature of historiography and the reformation of history curriculum explains the historical materials question appears the reason, from the aspects such as historical materials question of content, form, establish shows its characteristic, finally analyzes the historical materials question to examine the subject ability of several aspects.The fourth part puts forward the corresponding countermeasures on the basis of the analysis of the test questions, which is the application part of this paper. One is the analysis of historical materials questions problem-solving ideas, put forward read the questions carefully, clear theme; extract the key information, precise positioning of the test sites; summary, reasonable formulation three-step method. Two is to the middle school history teaching suggestion, including the historical data teaching to the historical material appropriate choice, how to train the student’s academic ability and so on.
