The period of high school is a transitory stage during which the students turn from teenagers into adult, and form correct overlook on values and gender. Female image as an integral part of Chinese textbooks, can subtly influence the formation of the overlook of social gender of high school students The progress of the era requires people to look at the female images in the Chinese textbooks with open vision, open mind, innovative thinking.Take the female images in the Chinese textbooks of high school in Jiangsu Province as the research object. Chapter one carries out a statistical analysis on to female authors and the role of women in the works, and then puts forward own thinking on the less number of women, lack of sense of age, more sad endings and other issues. The second chapter mainly studies female image from the diverse interpretation, and compares women in different culture perspectives and with different nationalities, and then infiltrates education value into diversified reading, such as gratitude consciousness, belief consciousness, and right view, etc. The third chapter is to study the defect of the female image in Chinese textbooks for high school in Jiangsu Province, and puts forward opinion for the writing of the textbooks. First, women and female perspective should be added into the Textbook Writing Group. Secondly, the number of women writers and the frequency of the female characters should be increased; Thirdly, the selection of female image should be enriched. This paper aims to help high school students have a more comprehensive understanding of women, and guide the students to form correct view of social gender.
