Since the information and technology course become a compulsory course in primary and secondary schools in our country from 2000 years, it has achieved some results, but still encountered many problems. Shenzhen as an advanced area of information and technology education in our country, what are the problems of the information and technology teaching in primary schools in this city? How do these problems occur and what are the improving strategies?Therefore, the author selected A primary school’s the information and technology teaching in Shenzhen as the object to study, to find the problems of information and technology teaching by investigating the present situation of the information and technology teaching, and then analyzes the causes of the problems, finally puts forward the countermeasures of improving to the school’s the information and technology teaching. Countermeasures proposed in this thesis are of certain operability and practicability to improve current information and technology teaching in primary schools. It is expected that this research can provide certain reference for researching existing problems in the information and technology teaching in Chinese primary and middle schools and the countermeasures of improving.The basic structure of the thesis is as below:The first chapter is the introduction part, which mainly introduces the background of the thesis, research goal and significance, relevant core concepts and research methods and processes.The second chapter illustrates the current situations of the information and technology teaching in A primary school in Shenzhen, including the generation situations of A primary school in Shenzhen, the status of the information and technology teaching in the school and the survey of the status of the information and technology teaching.The third chapter elaborates problems existing in the information and technology teaching in A primary school in Shenzhen and the causes of the problems. Through the status survey of the information and technology teaching in that school, the problems existing in the information and technology teaching in the school are discovered. In addition, after the analysis of the problems, we can find out the causes of the problems in order to propose suitable improvement countermeasures to the problems.The fourth chapter puts forward countermeasures to solve problems existing in information and technology teaching in A primary school in Shenzhen, which mainly include deepening teachers’, students’ and interest-related parties’ understandings of the significance of information and technology discipline, using proper teaching methods, optimizing teaching design, building scientific information and technology discipline evaluation criterion and well implementing the maintenance of teaching devices, etc.
