In the rapid development of information technology era, in the era that knowledge updates rapidly,education brings people new challenge.what to teach, how to teach, and how deep we should teach become a big problem that teachers have to face. The outline of basic education curriculum reform stresses that we should change the present situation that we stress accepting learning, rote memory and mechanical training.we should advocate that students take part in actively,explore happily and do themselves.we should develop students’ability of getting and dealing with information, obtaining new knowledge, analyzing and solving problems,and the ability of communication and cooperation.Getting knowledge is certainly important,but according to the demands of curriculum reform, learning to study is basis of students’future development. In all these learning methods cooperative learning is such a kind that is proved to be very effective. Cooperative learning began in the 1970s, and its main form is group learning, also it’s special that students can communicate each other.Practice has proved that effective cooperative learning can improve students’ interest and grades for learning,and it also can improve students’ ability of communication and creation.Meanwhile,it makes students form cooperative idea.However,as a high school teacher,1 can always find a lot of invalid cooperative learning phenomena in the teaching of ideological and political education.For example, students are unwilling to cooperate,sometimes only several students take part in the activities,sometimes our teachers can not finish their teaching targets,and students’ exam results are not satisfying.Through practice and research,I think effective cooperative learing should be such a kind method that can arouse students’ interest for learning,reduce teachers’ burden,improve students’grades and promotes students’ comprehensive developments.But how to improve the effectiveness of cooperative learning? According to my practice and research,through a lot of analysis to the problems and factors,I think we teachers should pay attention to these tips:we should change our concept for teaching, master the method itself and improve our ability to instruct our students;we should know more about our texts and do a good job of teaching design;we should divide our students into different groups properly and lets the members of group know their task clearly;we should teachers students some basic skills and improve their cooperation ability;we should enrich the forms of cooperative learning and strengthen the vigor of teaching;we should supervise the process and create a good environment;we should evaluate our students from different aspects and get effective feedback;we should attach importance to the long process and form a long term mechanism.
