Since the implementation of the nation-level model vocational colleges construction plan, higher vocational colleges in our China have obtained the good result in many aspects, especially in the professional construction, personnel training mode, the management level and quality of personnel training, etc. It can be said that nation-level model vocational colleges in our country have basically reached the required demonstration effect of the country. However, just like the diversified development of higher education at this stage, the social demand for the talented from the higher vocational colleges also showed a trend of diversification. Under the premise of the overall strength level are improved in higher vocational schools and the diversification of social demand for talents,the competition between the various vocational colleges is bound to become more intense. In order to survive and develop in the fierce competitive environment, national demonstrative higher vocational colleges must be their own characteristics. After years of exploration and practice, Zhejiang Financial College always adhere to the higher vocational education objective-characteristic, people’s satisfaction and happiness between teachers and students, focusing on pushing forward the construction of the ―happiness golden chamber‖, eventually formed the unique features of the ―golden house‖. ―Golden house‖ characteristic is embodied in various aspects, and various aspects are connected with each other and promote each other. In this article, the author will focus on elaborating Zhejiang Financial College’s campus culture characteristics, management features, service oriented characteristics, characteristics of scientific research and industry characteristics, which are different from other higher vocational college,hoping it can cause others thinking and play the role of better ideas.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part: Instructing this paper’s research background, significance, comprehensive review-related research and innovation of the paper, and describes the research ideas and research methods used in this paper.The second part: Firstly, defining the relevant concepts of school-running characteristics of nation-level model vocational colleges and then expounds the theoretical and practical basis of the formation of school-running feature in higher vocational colleges.The third part: Listing some problems of the national vocational colleges in the construction of school characteristics, and then analysis.The fourth part: Instructs the object of study of this article —Zhejiang Financial College briefly and addresses its reflect of characteristics specifically.The fifth part: Summarizes the successful experience of Zhejiang financial vocational college and points out that remains to be perfect in its future development.
