As in the popularization of higher education in our country, higher education is gradually showing a diversity of ecological, colleges and universities characteristic classification development and the quality of teaching has attracted more and more social attention to cultivate social need of talents in Colleges and Universities--application type undergraduate colleges and universities, as an important part of Higher Education in China entered the new period of development.As is known to all, teachers are the main body of the higher education institutions, and it is the communicator of knowledge and morality. A university to do good or bad, the level of high and low, the key is to have a reasonable structure of teachers, scientific research level, professional and distinctive professional teacher team. Application type undergraduate colleges and universities despite its size and number in the field of higher education has a place, but there are still many problems, from the point of view of practice, application type undergraduate colleges and universities in the exploration of the road, the cultivation of applied talents requirement is not clear, teacher’s ability is difficult to adapt to and meet the needs of training applied talents, the teaching faculty become the bottleneck that restrict application type talents training quality. Therefore, it is of theoretical and practical significance to explore the current situation of the teachers in the application oriented universities and how to improve the professional and so on.In this paper the literature method, comparative study method, interview investigation method combined, to "professional teachers team construction as the core, to Shaanxi Province application type undergraduate colleges and universities teachers present situation carries on the analysis, teacher structure of three colleges were analyzed. Taking H College for in-depth investigation of the case, from teachers designed proportion of part-time, age and title structure, management system, the training system that applied undergraduate college teachers and to solve these problems from the point of view of society, school and teachers reason analysis, so as to discuss the measures of teacher team construction. Industry and other issues, has a certain theoretical and practical significance.
