This paper on the background of Higher Vocational Education in our country, to take GDKX Vocational College as an example, by using the method of literature, qualitative and quantitative analysis method and comparative analysis and other methods of higher vocational colleges teaching staff performance appraisal system. At present, the research on the performance management of human resource in the academic circles is relatively more common, the research has also formed a certain depth. However, the current research on the performance evaluation system of college faculty is still fewer. The following conclusions are based on the research of this paper.First, Vocational Technical College of GDKX teaching staff performance appraisal should reward the diligent and punish the lazy, survival of the fittest, mobilize the teaching work of the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity, to promote teaching, scientific research and discipline construction, to meet the teachers’ freedom and comprehensive development. KPI indicators in GDKX Career Academy through analysis and calculation, the whole school teaching and administrative staff of the KPI level indicators from four aspects: teaching, research, professional construction, management and service. According to the above KPI index system, the principle of setting the first level indexes two level indicators and weights. The two level colleges and relevant departments can refer to these two KPI indicators set in line with the actual hospital level two KPI indicators and weights, establish a complete performance appraisal rules. Secondly, from the management of performance appraisal methods are introduced to GDKX vocational college human resources management system, all departments of the school attach great importance to the application performance evaluation method of teaching staff management, and formed a certain system of assessment. However, the evaluation system still exist these problems the assessment index is not scientific and simple methods of assessment is subject, assessment is non-standard, the incentive is not fully functional and other issues. Vocational College of GDKX in performance appraisal on the existence of these problems to the teaching and administrative staff is inseparable from its behind the deep-seated reasons. This paper thinks that the main cause is inadequate understanding of the thought, the issue of Vocational College of GDKX teaching staff performance appraisal formalism is more serious is the main reason for the participants. The incentive mechanism is not perfect is the current GDKX Vocational College teach one of the main problems in the evaluation of employee performance. In the performance evaluation of the GDKX vocational technical college a number of departments in the University, there are obviously insufficient supervision and feedback mechanism is not perfect, the performance appraisal lack of dynamic and is caused by one of the reasons for the GDKX vocational college teaching and administrative staff performance assessment problem. Thirdly, Vocational Technical College of GDKX as one of the provincial higher vocational colleges, the teaching staff performance appraisal status on the one hand is to promote GDKX vocational and technical college development and improve people’s satisfaction in higher vocational colleges direct influenced, on the other hand Vocational Colleges in other parts of the province for teaching evaluation of employee performance management is to provide reference. Therefore, to improve the GDKX vocational college staff performance appraisal system is very important. Improve GDKX vocational college staff performance appraisal level can improve from the cultivation of the modern concept of performance management, scientific performance evaluation index system design, the advanced performance appraisal methods, to strengthen the assessment of organization and implementation, pay attention to the assessment results feedback and usage, improve the performance of the supporting measures.
