Modern prose is the focus of high school teaching and the teaching difficulties. Many teachers will have different style of prose, ignores the differences of different style of prose, and often appear the teaching pattern of ills. This article advocates the classification of modern prose teaching, according to the characteristics of the modern lyric prose and modern prose, similarities and differences, to design different teaching strategies. Teachers should seize the similarity of the two, at the same time should also grasp the differences of the two, reasonable to distinguish between the modern and modern prose, lyric prose make both retain their unique personality and charm.This article first chapter first discusses the nature of the academic classification of prose, and expresses the author’s new views for prose classification, and then points out that the modern prose in the compulsory teaching material according to the characteristics of the unit Ed, we analyzed the rationality of modern prose according to the unit Ed, according to the education practice and questionnaire data analysis, points out the problems existing in the teaching of modern prose.This article talked about the second chapter elaborated based on lyrical prose and prose teaching strategy of similar characteristics. Intermediate characteristics, based on both should guide students to comb prose clues, grasp the conception; Based on the connotation, the characteristics of deep should guide students to taste language, careful insight.In this paper, the third chapter focuses on the talk based on modern lyric prose and prose of the personality characteristics of teaching strategies. In modern lyric prose teaching, teacher should guide students to read it over and over again, seize the landscape characteristics, feel the lyric prose beauty of the scenery; Based on the beauty of artistic conception of modern lyric prose, teachers should reasonably establishment situation, makes every effort to let the student see; Based on modern lyric prose beauty of the emotional, the teacher should guide students to master essence, improve their aesthetic temperament and interest. Talked about the modern prose with express the beauty of life and revealing the expression of beauty, based on the two characteristics, the teachers should guide students to read the text, from seemingly ordinary language, understand its underlying philosophy and interest; Guide the student to understand and study the expression of "view" technique; In addition, teachers should fully respect the students’ multiple interpretations. At the same time, teachers should be based on the advantages and disadvantages of modern prose classification teaching, makes every effort to avoid disadvantages, and constantly improve the modern prose teaching.
