The cultivation plan for Physical majors of higher education has been revised many times, “Program of Undergraduate Course of Physical Education in Colleges and Universities in China” still keeps its standard for physical major students. Different reforms of talent introduction has been implemented by different universities according to its own traits. And among all those reforms, the normal education is the center of educational plan in recent years. The investment and quality of normal education has been increased by our government. In the meantime the cultivation of physical educational talent has been challenged. With rapid development of society and great improvement of physical education, the needs for physical education talent has been rapid increased as well. The research is aim at six normal universities that are directly subordinated to education ministry of China, discussing the targets and specifications and class hour, grades, class settings(basic skills class, profession class, teaching methodology classes), distribution of credit of cultivation in the process of physical education reforms, exploring the basic law and regular pattern and characteristics of six universities, providing the examples and suggestions in physical education for other higher education universities. In conclusion:(1) Physical education in six universities is generally fulfill the requirements of “Program of Undergraduate Course of Physical Education in Colleges and Universities in China”;(2)Cultivation specifications is exactly reflect the needs of cultivation, but on the other hand, it is still need to be improved in the area of moral and law cultivation.(3)As for class setting, compulsory courses have been emphasized too much and the healthy development of students from selective courses has been ignored.(4)There is not much difference between class hour and credit, but the unbalanced distribution still exist among all the classes, the comprehensive evaluation of distribution about class hour and credit of Northeast Normal University is much more balanced.(5)In basic classes, compulsory courses fulfill the requirements and it is balanced between class hour and credit, the basic class can be implemented as it was plan, but the number of basic skill class is still need to be optimized. So in conclusion, the comprehensive evaluation on basic skill classes of Shaanxi Normal University scores the top. The classes setting in basic skills class of six normal universities are quite different for its different emphasize and different class setting and different class hour, credit. Among the six normal universities, Beijing normal university scores the top.(6)In the profession courses, Southwest University scores the top among the six universities, it has the most compulsory courses with a less distribution of class hour and credit, which is not reasonable enough for physical majors for they do not have enough time to learn the core knowledge of their major. Beijing normal university scores the bottom because it focus more on compulsory courses than basic skill courses. Central China Normal University scores the top on the selective courses for its great number of selective courses.(7)Southwest University remain its top position on the area of physical teaching methodology courses which has the most class hour and credit compared to other five normal universities. Suggestions are given based on the conclusions:(1)According to the regional features, colleges and universities train talent who fits for both the local feature and the requirements of market economy development. The training objective should be gradually shifted from physical education specialized talent to sports inter-disciplinary talent;(2)Universities, on the one hand, focus on teaching professional knowledge structure, and, on the other hand, should also emphasize on improving students’ language and communication skills, reinforcing ethical training and legal quality training;(3)Curriculum development should be based on the maintenance of required courses and increase elective courses, so that students can enlarge their knowledge of interdisciplinary study;(4)Because some colleges put emphasis on the development of their own disciplines, while other colleges focus more on one kind of discipline and thus neglect other disciplines, comprehensive consideration should be paid on the impact of the allocation of hours and credits on students’ career development;(5) Colleges should make reasonable adjustments to the general education curriculum, focusing on the basic required courses and developing elective courses to optimize the course so that the students have a good basis for learning;(6)Grasping the learning of professional core courses and allocating hours and credits evenly allow students to acquire more expertise, and adequate specialized elective courses allow students to develop more expertise and mobilize the initiative of students in the learning of specialized knowledge;(7) Courses in teacher-education courses can be carried out to help students understand the connotation of PE teachers and adequately grasp of theoretical knowledge of Physical Education. Colleges and universities should equip students with teaching skills, based on the learning of professional skills and knowledge.By the comparative study of hours in class, credits, and all kinds of courses in the six teacher-training colleges directly under the Ministry of Education, it is helpful to enhance the curriculum reform of the Physical Education major in college. It offers a theoretical reference for colleges to make teaching plans which fit to the reform. It provides practical supports for the vigorous development of college Physical Education reform. It is beneficial for colleges’ perspective study in the training of talent in Physical Education. It also provides evidence for the training of talent in Physical Education which is to fit in the needs of future society. It benefits the adaption of the talent-training in Physical Education to the development of Sports business in society, so that a way can be find out to promote mutual benefits and improvement, enhancing the supply-demand relation between society and college, completing the training mechanism of Physical Education. Every college has its bright spot in curriculum provision. The exchange among colleges can promote the making of training programs, producing more talent for China’s Physical Education.
