Research On The Improvement Of Motivation Mechanism Of The R&D Personnel In S Corporation

With the development of knowledge economy, now we are in the know-ledge-based economy age. The status and role of knowledge employee in the enter-prise is becoming more important. Research and development personnel (hereinafteras “R&D Personnel”) in enterprise is the typical representative of knowledge em-ployee, especially in the high-tech enterprises, the ability of R&D Personnel plays adecisive role in the survival and development of enterprises. Therefore, attracting andretaining R&D Personnel and effective motivation, has become the important work ofthe human resources management.The paper first introduced the classic theory of motivation, performance man-agement theory, learning organization theory and motivation theory of knowledgeemployee, which makes a theoretical foundation for studying R&D Personnel motiva-tion. It then cited motivation strategy of knowledge employee of several well-knownenterprises to provide examples for the design of motivation. In the part of empiricalresearch, the paper’s target is studying on the R&D Personnel of “S” Corporation, ahigh-tech enterprise, investigates the status of motivation and the degree of attentionof various motivation factors with the questionnaires, analysis and understand themain problems in the management of motivation of “S” Corporation and the desire ofthe R&D Personnel. At the last of paper, according to the results of empirical research,with reference to the theories and examples, it builded the improvement program ofmotivation for the R&D Personnel of “S” Corporation and provided the practical sig-nificance of the reference to maximize the enthusiasm and creativity of R&D Person-nel.
