Applying theory and methodology of some subjects such as TourismMarketing, Statistics, Tourism Geography and others to researchsystematically on the evolution characteristics of spatial-temporalstructure of tourist flow attributes and the tourist origin region in the touristmarket of Fujian Province and predict its development trend. The study resultscan provide theoretical basic and practical guidance to tourism marketexpansion and product structure optimization, toursm service promotion.The research results are as follows. Female, the old, self-driving travel, businessand exposition markets are booming and with enhancing consumption power. Ruralresident, FSE and religious tourism make up the rather small market share. Leisureand sightseeing are the principle tourist activity; tourist stay time is shortened yearafter year. The consumption structure of domestic tourism is deviating from thenormal trend, conversely, which of inbound tourism is being reasonable; however, theproportion of basic tourist consumption is too high. On the respective of touristservice satisfaction, domestic tourist’s appraising is being increased but that ofinbound tourist is being decreased and widened more far from other near provinces.Compared with the whole country, the development momentum both of domestic andinbound tourism in Fujian Province are being weakened. The spatial distribution oftourists’ origin region is highly concentrated, depending on short-distant provincesand Hong Kong Macao Taiwan. The tourist attraction power to provinces in theMiddle-West China and overwhelming majority of inbound countries is deficiency orfalling. The duration and scale of tourist rush season of inbound tourism is short andsmall; the difference between tourist season and off-season of domestic tourism isoutstanding. The scale of Taiwan and foreigner market is enlarging, but the HongKong-Macao market is shrinking. It is predicted that the dominant position ofdomestic tourism tends to be strengthened in the next8years, due to its expansion farout spaces the growth of inbound tourism.Last, this thesis proposes the countermeasures to expand the tourism market of Fujian Province including strengthening market research, doingmarket segmentation, differentiating marketing, enlarging outside tourismpublicity, consolidating the brand image—“Cross–Strait Tourism”,enhancing regional tourism cooperation, putting the focus on the markets offemale, the old, rural resident, self-driving travel, other provinces,boominginbound tourist origin countries, study tour and regions.
