Research On Human Resource In Small And Medium Enterprises In VietNam

Small and medium enterprises is an important element in the market economy, especially in Vietnam, a developing country where small and medium enterprises accounts for a high ratio in the economy, creating jobs and contributing to social stability Human resource plays an important role in enterprises; human resource development is a part of business development, a major factor in the development and success of the business. In recent years Vietnam has joined many economic associations, regional and international trades, especially the World Trade Organization (WTO) in2006, this is an opportunity and also a challenge for local businesses facing intense competition from international market. A good human resource development strategy not only can improve competitiveness, but also ensure the long-term development and sustainability of the business. Currently in Vietnam, human resource development is still in its infancy with a lot of inedequacies, which is an obstacle for businesses. Therefore, the study of this issue is objectively necessary.In this thesis, economic research methods like the method of dialectical materialism, statistical analysis method, and comparision... are used to study on human resource development in small and medium enterprises in Vietnam. The writer also collected statistical survey results from the source then analyzed. The data used in the thesis mainly from the following sources:the annual report of the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the synthesis report from the relevant ministries, research results have been published within and outside Vietnam’s boders, different books and magazines. In this thesis, experience of human resource development of other countries is also taken into consideration to make recommendation for Vietnam enterprisesAcknowledging the importance of human resource in small and medium enterprises, and there is not enough in-depth study on this issue, I hope the findings of this thesis will be a good reference to help entrepreneurs, business owners draw appropriate lessons to develop their own enterprises and thereby contribute to the development of small and medium enterprises in general.
