Study On The Sustainable Development Of Economy In Xingtai

With the rapid development of economy in the last century, resources and environmentproblem is increasingly prominent. It seriously affected the economic and social sustainabledevelopment. This makes human effort to seek a new development model——the sustainabledevelopment. As a resource-based city, Xingtai need change the economic development moderelying on resources. This paper bases on the theory of sustainable development, put Xingtai asthe research object; Firstly using the principal component analysis to evaluate economicsustainable development ability; Secondly using data envelopment model analyze Xingtai andJiaozuo economic sustainable development ability; Come to the conclusion that Xingtai needsimproving in the industrial structure, fixed assets investment, communications and transportinfrastructure construction, science and education investment, resource utilization andconfiguration. Put forward the way to raise the capacity of Xingtai economic sustainabledevelopment.This paper studied the micro economic sustainable development ability from six parts, theconcrete content is as follows:ChapterⅠ: Introduction. Topic basis this article selected, value, the research of the mainproblems and ideas and methods of research.ChapterⅡ: The theoretical basis and literature review. The theoretical basis; the researchtrend about sustainable development at home and abroad.Chapter Ⅲ: Xingtai economy evaluation index system of sustainable development ability.the basic overview on Xingtai, the research of regional unit, data sources, and according to the index system of sustainable development to establish the evaluation index system.Chapter Ⅳ: The evaluation of the micro economy sustainable development ability. Using theprincipal component analysis to standardized index system, and calculate the index weight,and analyze and evaluate economic sustainable development ability of Xingtai2002～2011. Thenthe Xingtai and Jiaozuo, comparing the economic sustainable development ability to find the gap.Chapter Ⅴ: The way to raise the capacity of sustainable development of Xingtai.
