Due to complicated economic environment at home and abroad and dramatically changing world political trend, we are in a time of growing instability and uncertainty. Companies like S, confronted with changes of policy, market and its demand, product innovation and technology progress, etc., have to make adjustment or "go out" to open up foreign markets. Such strategic adjustment has gradually tended to be common. This paper is to discuss the redesign of salary system--how to meet the need of company’s development on one hand and on the other hand, to be flexible to adapt to fine-tuning system if business expanses or externally required.With company S’ salary system redesign as the research object, this paper firstly makes integral analysis on the research and determines research methods that mainly are documentary method, combination method of theory and application and systematical analysis. Based on this, theories will be collected and sorted then, including domestic and international research status, related theories of salary, salary management, salary system and salary system design. At last, the former salary system will be analyzed integrally and new system will be designed combining with new strategies of the company. The methods of fine tuning out of interior and exterior changes during three years will be discussed, too. Research conclusion will be drawn on the basis of above works.Furthermore, the flexibility of fine-tuning salary system, resetting of its legal procedures and CPI linkage added to basic salary are characteristics of this paper.
