The Research Of Industrial Organization Mode In New Industrial Zone Of Taiyuan

Abstract:Because of the feature of Taiyuan economic development, requirements of economic restructuring and rationalization of the spatial layout, in the second half of2005,the private economic zone of Taiyuan(new industrial zone of Taiyuan) proposed to exploit a new area and was approved.This new zone (new Industrial zone of Taiyuan) located in the counties surrounding Huangzhai of Yangqu, Shanxi province. Since then, this new zone started a new undertaking. This zone is facing unprecedented development opportunities and challenges when Shanxi government implement a new development strategy and the State Council approved that Shanxi become a reform zone to transform to National resource-based economy. How does the new industrial zone of Taiyuan survive and develop better and faster. How does the industry achieve rapid economic output growth, complete a new undertaking and finish all the jobs given by Taiyuan government. Those questions has become a theoretical and practical task.This paper based on the industrial development theory, industrial organization theory, regional division of labor theory, industrial agglomeration and regional economics theory, Shanxitransition development strategy, apply a method which combine comprehensive analysis and logical induction, and consider the real situation of the worse foundation of this zone and the new undertaking. Therefore, this paper proposed a new organizational model which is beneficial for the industrial development. The main points and the main contents of the paper are:First, summarizing the overview of the industry and its development status through introducing the histroy of the industrial zone; The second,in order to analysis the developing environment of the new industrial zone, and identify weaknesses, threats, opportunities and advantages of the new industrial zone by using SWOT model; The third, on the basis of SWOT analysis, clearing objectives and orientation of the industrial development, and choosing the leading industry; The next, considering industry choices of this zone, choosing the industrial chain and industrial clusters as the spatial organizations. Architect the association chain between industries, based on the Relationship between the industries in the new industrial zone. Construct the industrial clusters and divide the industrial clusters compare with the function of clusters that are formed, relying on perfecting industrial train; The last, giving new model of industrial organization promoting measures and recommendations.The difficulty and innovation of the paper is:First, it is the first time for new industrial zone of Taiyuan to reasearch its industrial organizational model; The second, analyzing the environmental advantages weaknesses, opportunities and threats of new industrial zone by knowing its developing status and using the SWOT model; The third, clearing the develomental objectives and orientation, and choosing the leading industry; The last, considering industry choices of this zone, choosing the industrial chain and industrial clusters as the spatial organizations,designing the spatial layout on all major functional areas, giving advice on the supporting system.The analysis of industrial organization model in the new industrial zone of Taiyuan mainly relates to the status of the development of this zone, analyzes of the industrial development environment, selection of the leading industry, industrial chain fostering, construction of industrial clusters and supporting system,and industrial organization spatial layout.It provides considerable practical methods for the studying in the industrial organization model for the industrial zone.
