In the period of rapid development of urbanization in our country, it is expected that at least400million rural populations in the next10to20years would move into urban area. However, the current model is not a low carbon development model of urbanization. Along with the advancement of urbanization, the per capita carbon emissions in the rising state, characterized by low population density expansion of urbanization, also provides space for the growth of carbon emissions. This development trend of our country would pose a threat to the target of carbon reduction, which needs to be finished in2050. Therefore, to understand and to predict the future urbanization and also carbon emission along with it will be the most important in terms of carbon reduction. There are prediction researches of carbon emission based on macro economic changes, which put more attention on emission source in the industrial sector. However, researches on carbon emission of a person’s life consumption are still in a immature stage, the measurement standard of families carbon emissions has not been established. Therefore, this article, based on literature research, try to classify and measure the life consumption carbon emission based on large amounts of data calculation. The result of carbon emission increases both in total amount and per capita would be the result of this article. As the accounting of this article is based on micro data, one contribution of this article especially lies in the13sector carbon emission increases, which helps with a more thoroughly analysis of the structure of life consumption carbon emission, and also provides empirical data for future study. In the last part of this paper is the conclusion and an attempt of policy suggestions, which include low carbon city pilot, a carbon tax on the consumption side and carbon trading policy, to reach the target of total carbon reduction.
