Employee training, one of the most important aspects in HRM(human resource management), is supposed to be an essential means to accumulate and take advantage of human resources. In recent years, many enterprises attach more and more importance to employee training and invest large quantities of human, material and financial resources in it. However, the amount of profits brought by investment is hard to predict. Assessing the effectiveness of employee training remains difficult, which to some extent influences carrying out of employee training activities. Nevertheless, it is of much practical significance to construct a proper evaluation system that is suitable for enterprises.This article, based on the actual conditions of FM food company, conducts systematic studies on the establishment and operation of evaluation system, which has a reference value on promoting systematic management and effective training. In the first part of this article,questions raised, Secong part,the article studies relative theories on employee training, explains definition, features as well as significance of employee training and discusses basic theory of assessment pattern. Third, based on the analysis of studies on employee training in FM food company, the article suggests the necessity of setting up a training assessment system. Thus, chapter four designs an assessment system which suits FM food company. Based on Kirk Patrick four hierarchical evaluation model, the system uses AHP(analytic hierarchy process) to determine the index weight and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to assess the influence of the training work. In order to prove its feasibility, chapter five makes practical evaluation of team leader training in FM food company in 2012. It also analyzes the problems according to the evaluation results and puts forward some measures to promote the effectiveness. The last part of the article makes a summarization of the conclusion and makes prospects for future research.
