A Research On Tourism Resources Dependence Based On Tourism Income And Provincial Differences In China

The relationship between tourism resources and tourism economy has been a hotspot of academic research, but the existing research mainly describes the data between the two differences, there is no clear definition of the relationship between the two. For the correct understanding of the relationship between tourism resources and tourism income, the influence degree of tourism resources of tourism economic development, to provide a theoretical basis for the correct understanding of tourism resources, this study selected the 31 provincial administrative regions as the basic research unit, using the resource dependence theory, defined the connotation of tourism resources dependence; using tourism resource abundance, tourism income of two indicators, calculated each provincial administrative regions of China’s tourism resources dependence; On this basis, in order to reveal the level of tourism resources dependence and its development trend from the two aspects of the country and eight economic zones, this study choosing the standard deviation and variation coefficient, Theil index and other indicators, analyzed the difference of tourism resources dependence, using the σ-convergence and β-convergence test, determined the development trend of tourism resources dependence, analyzed influence factors of tourism resources dependence, The main results are as follows:(1) During the study period, the provincial administrative regions of the tourism resources dependence level was up and down, but all the provincial administrative region tourism resources dependence on an average annual reduction rate was less than 0, It showed that the provincial tourism resources dependence decreased.(2) In the rankings, during the study period, the tourism resources dependence on the ranking of the nation’s top 5 and last 5 provincial administrative regions was relatively stable; Shanghai, Tianjin and Guangdong were among the last first, second, third, Xinjiang had been ranked fifth in the rankings; provincial administrative regions had different degrees of fluctuation.(3) During the study period, in the absolute difference, provincial differences in tourism resources dependence of the country and eight economic zones showed a significant decreasing trend, but the difference in the country was significantly higher than that in eight economic zones, and the decreasing trend was more obvious; in relative difference, provincial differences in the country generally showed a decreasing trend, provincial differences in northern coastal economic zone differences and the national level was very close, significantly higher than the rest of the seven major economic areas; changes in the remaining seven largest economic zone trend was not significant, it fluctuated within a narrow range.(4) Theil index analyses show that,during the study period, provincial differences in national tourism resources dependence presented obvious decreasing trend; the level of differences in Inter regional and its contribution to the overall difference was significantly higher than Intra regional, the decline trend of Inter regional was more obvious than Intra regional, The difference contribution rate in Inter regional decreased slowly, The difference contribution rate in Intra regional increased slowly, provincial difference change trend in eight economic area was not the same, provincial difference and overall difference contribution rate of Northern coastal economic zone was significantly higher than other area, provincial difference and overall difference contribution rate of Southern coast Zone, the Northeast economic zone present a trend of increasing, provincial difference and overall difference contribution rate of Eastern coast Zone, the middle reaches of the Yellow River Economic Zone showed a trend of decrease, provincial differences and contribution rate of economic zone in the middle reach of Yangtze river, southwest economic zone, northwest economic zone differences and contribution rate were very close, all within the scope of the small fluctuations.(5) During the study period, the national tourism resources dependence of provincial differences generally presented the σ-convergence trend, showing that the provincial differences of national tourism resources dependence in general tend to decrease over time, Provincial differences in the Northern coastal economic zone, the eastern coastal economic zone, the middle reaches of the Yellow River Economic Zone, Southwest Economic Zone, Northwest Economic Zone of tourism resources dependence overall showed the trend of σ-convergence, but the convergence situation of each region was not the same; provincial difference of Northeast Economic Zone, the southern coastal economic zone, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River economic zone generally tend to increase over time, but in some time, they also showed the trend of a-convergence.(6) During the study period, the development trend of the national tourism resources show the trend of absolute β-convergence, but the trend is not obvious, This suggested that the provincial administrative region tourism resources dependence is higher, the faster it reduce relatively. The development trend of regional tourism resources dependence did not belong to the absolute P-convergence, suggesting that regional provincial administrative tourism resources dependence level and reducing rate had no obvious relationship.(7) The influence factors of tourism resources dependence include tourism supply environmental factors and tourism demand environment factors. The former, including tourism resources, tourism services and management environment, tourism environment, affects tourism resources endowments and attractive tourism products, thus influence tourists’ consumption choices; The latter including macro and micro environment demand, affects the whole social background of travel demand, as well as the potential tourists turn tourist motives for tourist behavior ability; tourism supply and tourism demand environment is a combination of the elements that constitute the influence on tourism resources dependence.
