The transport construction of infrastructure is the basic relationship of the national economy development. Which is the most important industry and key area in the development of the national economy and closely associated. Along with the Western Development Strategy, both society and economic in Inner Mongolia totally have developed rapidly. The Inner Mongolia road transport has also been rapid development,of which the highway develops particularly rapidly,at rhe same time, the passenger and cargo traffic grows very fast. Thus, road transport has become the main mode of transportation in Inner Mongolia. But compared with the developed provinces in eastern of China, especially in terms of road condition, road density and smooth traffic, Inner Mongolia highway of transport infrastructure is still relatively backward. The transportation of infrastructure are being distributed seriously imbalanced.Inner Mongolia is the important Energy base of China, but lack of traffic infrastructure construction not only limited to transport the resource, but also hinder the regional leading industry chain to extend and produce of production and transportation. This causes we can not fully transform the resource advant age into the economic advantage. Highway traffic infrastructure and the region al economy development influence each other. It is closely linked between the highway traffic infrastructure of construction and regional economic growth. Re gional economic growth will promote the highway transportation infrastructure of construction, and the policy of the regional economy will also make influen ce at road traffic infrastructure construction. Because of the transportation of i nfrastructure are being distributed seriously imbalanced in Inner Mongolia, we use thequantitative analysis by the regional road transport infrastructure develop ment and regional economic relations. It comes to the conclusion that the tran sportation infrastructure investment for economic growth in our region Long-ter m elasticity is about 0.83. It also means that transport infrastructure investme nt in fixedassets for each additional 1%, GDP will grow by 0.83 percent. Tran sportation infrastructure for our regional economic growth has a significant Ion g-term andshort-term effect, long-term impact is more significant. For the futur e, the major policy in transportation infrastructure are as followed:(1) Inner Mongolia still have to vigorously promote the construction of transportation inf rastructure; (2) road transport infrastructure construction should disperse resourc es into overall resource advantages; (3) road transportation infrastructure should disperse tourism resources linked to form an overall advantage; (4) based on "One Belt And One Road," and "Russia and Mongolia economic corridor", Inn er Mongolia should make effort to increase regional cooperation, promote the economic and social development; (5) road transport infrastructure construction should promote the freedom of movement between the people, information, te chnology and other elements to achieve the overall coordinated development of economy.
