The Influence And Countermeasures Of Green Trade Barriers To Tea Export Of China

China is a large exporting country of agricultural products. Agricultural products have great influence over a country’s economy and its agricultural development. In recently years, however, China faces many problems with respect to the export of agricultural products, one of them being Green Trade Barriers. Despite the fact that free trade maximizes the output of world’s products and benefits the social welfare as whole, many countries still set up trade barriers for their own reasons, and Green Trade Barrier is one kind of trade barrier that importing countries apply to protect themselves from global trade. The implication of this essay is that it analyses in detail the problematic situation of China’s agricultural products in export market, using research data of this year.Under the background of environmental protection, this paper first introduces the present situation of China’s tea export, the present export of Chinese tea. Then elaborated the green trade barriers have the dual nature of it and then analyzes the positive influence and negative influence, finally put forward to how to respond to green trade barriers from a macro level, medium level, and the micro level. From the aspects of improving product quality and to cope with the international community, the author thinks that the point of the measure is justified, in order to protect quality and safety, but if the implementation excessively, it will cause serious damage. The tea export road is not smooth; it is full of difficulties and obstacles. High standards, however, does not mean low export, this is a new opportunity and also a difficult challenge. High-standard merely reduces the immediate interests, as long as the Chinese tea can achieve high standards, and intensify the prevention and control of the unknown risk, Chinese tea should increase the independent brand creation and the production of the packing and shipping many links such as standard, the construction of more perfect information service platform and testing system, the Chinese government should provide a stronger support from policy, the association of Chinese tea should provide more support and help.
