As China’s marketing economy development and improvement, HRM in Chinese private enterprises is continuing to mature and progress. However, there are still many problems and disadvantages existing. As the inherent characteristics of ownership, traditional Chinese culture, the changes in macroeconomic environment and other factors, Chinese private enterprises always have a similar start-up development process and model. Therefore, HRM always have similar problems and predisposing factors.Nowadays, with the knowledge economy, information age and the era of global competition’s coming, the environment of private enterprise has undergone enormous changes. These changes bring new opportunities and also challenges to Chinese private enterprises. The competition among enterprises is the competition for human resource finally. The HRM problems in private enterprises have become an obstacle to the growth, this situation needs to be improved.In this paper, based on modern HRM theory and according to HRM practices in Chinese private enterprises, I will analyze the HRM situations and characteristics in Chinese private enterprises at the perspective in the transitional period. Based on the above theory and practice, I will also re-design the HRM mechanism and system in HL Group, and provide suggestions for nowadays business environment, make the HR policies to promote the enterprise development and maintain competitive advantage, thereby contributing to the improvement of organizational capabilities, and ultimately the corporate strategic goals.
