The core of the enterprise management mechanism is how to use talent, to achieve "give full scope to the talents, the key is how to encourage talent, to do this, and it is essentially how to establish efficient incentive mechanism. In improving the employee individual performance and also by the reach the business objectives. At the same time, through the incentive mechanism so that enterprises can better attract and retain talent. Thus it can be seen, the incentive mechanism not only affects the employee’s work efficiency, at the same time also is the fundamental survival and development of enterprises. It is even more for small and medium sized retail enterprises in development period. During the operation of the incentive mechanism, is actually the process of enterprise ambitious goals into concrete targets of individual employees, incentive mechanism is to guarantee the effect of implementation for each specific target. the retail industry is a labor-intensive industry, staff level, therefore, to establish a long-term stable strategic human resources, different training and incentive management of different staff, great for small and medium-sized retail enterprises has significance. Based on the above analysis, this paper studies incentive mechanism for employees in small and medium sized retail enterprises, hope to provide a useful reference and help for small and medium sized retail enterprises in the application of incentive mechanism.This paper is divided into five parts, The first part is the introduction, including the research background and significance, the domestic and foreign development status, research methods and content, and the innovation. The second part is a summary of the relevant theories, mainly contains the concept of incentive mechanism, basic theory of incentive mechanism, incentive mechanism establishment and perfection of the principle.. The third part is case analysis, mainly to Shenzhen, a retail enterprise incentive mechanism design were introduced, through the introduction of the case leads to the small and medium-sized retail enterprise incentive model, incentive design discussion. The fourth part is thinking and exploration of the small and medium sized retail enterprises incentive mechanism mainly includes incentive mechanism of the small and medium-sized retail enterprises summary, adapt to the small and medium-sized retail enterprise incentive mechanism model. The fifth part is the conclusion of this article, mainly analyzes the research achievements and shortcomings.The design of incentive mechanism needs to involve all face the enterprise human resources management face, therefore established a fixed incentive pattern is not desirable, especially in view of the present situation of our country small and medium-sized retail enterprises, how to establish a practical and beneficial to the enterprise’s own development incentive mode, also requires repeated exploration and try.
