Research On The Location Of The Railway Logistics Center Based On Existing Railway Freight Station

ABSTRACT:Rail transport as the backbone of an integrated transport with large transport capacity, economic, environmental and other advantages, plays an important role in China’s national economic development. With the rapidly development of e-commerce and logistics industry, the existing railway freight station in the presence of "small, scattered, chaotic" are not well integrated into logistics system has become an increasingly prominent problem. Constructing new railway logistics center is land difficult, long construction period, huge investment and other issues. Therefore, the adjustment of the layout of the railway freight station, By the concept of modern logistics services on existing railway freight station for a reasonable division of labor, layout, the transformation of railway logistics center has become railway freight to adapt to a new era of economic development of the inevitable ehoice.In the planning and construction of railway logistics center, siting a new freight station and expanding the existing railway freight station to logistics center is a certain complexity, which requires in-depth understanding of the logistics industry related theories and methods of logistics center location, but also with concrete the actual situation, planning in line with our long-term development of railway logistics center.Firstly, the paper analyzed the current situation of China’s railway freight station, at the same time, on the basis of analyzed the concept and characteristics of railway logistics center, defined the different functions of different types of railway logistics center classification method. And then Analyszed railway logistics center location related factors, such as the regional economic development, the railway freight station facilities; I established railway logistics center location assessment index system. After analyzing and comparing general location method of logistics center, I proposed an analysis method based on Improved DEA mode, which could be reasonably to chose the existing railway freight station reconstructed as railway logistics center. And the existing railway freight station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway chosen as an example, through analysis and calculations, I proposed some suggestions for the location of the existing railway freight stations expansion as railway logistics centers.
