Construct the new urbanization is the important thing for the future development in our country, and it is also the transformation with the most of population in the world. The urbanization of China is people-oriented, the core of urbanization is to make the peasant transformed into citizens and to improve the quality of urbanization at the same time. The fundamental purpose of the urbanization is to benefit the peasant. To promote the migrant citizenization is the one of the six basic tasks of the new urbanized construction, and in this process, the orderly promotion of new generation peasants plays an important role in accelerating the construction of our country’s new urbanization.This thesis analyzes the issue of this generation’s citizenization of farmer-worker over the text is divided into six chapters. The first chapter illustrates the background of this study, the purpose and significance of the research, the study methods, and an overview of the new generation peasant research achievements which are studied by the former researchers. The second chapter descripes the definations of the relevant concepts, and illustrates the theoretical foundation of this research. In the third chapter, I take the research data from Qingdao city as an example, through analyzing the data to summarize the current situation of the urbanization. The fourth chapter analysis the obstacles of the citizenization process in national system, social factors and personal factors of the new generation of peasant workers. Chapter five proposes the public policy to promote citizenization of new generation of peasant workers in urban and rural context. The chapter six is the conclusion part of this thesis.
