The management theory of performance starts relatively late in our country. In 2002, the methods of performance management was introduced to China and applied by some enterprises. With the development and maturity of strategic performance management in western countries, some Chinese enterprises began applying the related methods gradually. They merged performance management into strategic management which made performance management a very useful tool in the implementation of enterprise’s strategic management.As an effective tool summarized by Tang Dongfang and his team, five step strategic performance management combined domestic management consulting practice and mature foreign technology of performance management theory. This method is a comprehensive utilization of the existing performance management instruments with the goal of ensuring carrying out the strategies correctly and realizing strategic performance effectively.The author interviewed JZ Group stakeholders of performance management and queried the related data. Through combing the present problems of performance management from JZ Group, the author combined the five step strategic performance management and the balanced scorecard, re-built subsidiary performance management system and process of JZ Group, which includes the re-building of the whole performance management flow and the construction of the system consisting of five parts:drawing strategy map (strategic analysis and strategic theme abstract), performance goal and schedule making (the key performance index library established and evaluation standard study), performance implementation and guidance (method and process management), performance evaluation (performance information collecting, communication and feedback), performance result management (management diagnosis, salary paid, post adjustment, performance diagnosis).This study mainly aims at improving subsidiary performance management system of JZ Group, changing the contrary form between the employers and employees by optimizing its system and flow. Then the performance management culture will be formed harmoniously. Other companies can also benefit from the study at their subsidiary performance management.
