Research On The Convergence Development Type Of Tourism And Cultural Industry

In an age of mass tourism,with the improvement of people’ s purchasing power and the increase of people’ s travelling experience, The tourists were no longer satisfied with the ordinary sightseeing, leisure, or holiday products, The requirement had diversified in all directions. This trend continued to promote enterprises to seek a new way of development and make them understand the importance of product innovation. The domestic tourism industry is currently facing the opportunities and challenges of tourism attraction’s transformation and upgrading, the cultural industry is also facing the problem of small market and weak competitiveness. Industry Convergence is an important starting point of tourism and cultural industry to break through the bottleneck. Now,there have been some attempts to the tourism industry convergence both at home and abroad,some integrative products has developed to scale and got an excellent effect in markets. But the theoretical system about the tourism industry convergence is under development, behind the actual situation of industrial development.This paper tries to study on the integration of tourism and cultural industry development issues from the angle of “type”. The thesis first defines the relationship between tourism and cultural industry, these two have a natural overlapping part, an interactive part and an independent part. Then this paper reviews the domestic and foreign integration practice between the two industries, Based on this it analyzed the dynamic mechanism and the 3 development patterns of culture resources. The development of tourism requirement is the driving force of Industry Convergence, Other factors include the progress of science and technology, the enterprise behavior and the policy. The development patterns of culture resources are the utilization of national traditional culture and worldwide local cultural resources. Then this paper discussed the type of the integration between tourism and cultural industry in detail from the internal mechanism, development situation, integration features, problems and future development direction. The specific type of the integration between tourism and cultural industry are the integration development type of Park, the integration development type of Heritage, the integration development type of Business services, the integration development type of MICE& Festival, Tourism Performing Arts and Cultural tourism commodities. Then, this paper analyses how to realize the integration of tourism and cultural industry. The tourism and cultural industry realize the integration by extending to each other. And then this paper summarize the positive effect from both the industrial and area development aspects. At last the author put forward to some development strategy to strengthen the integration between the two, including the integration of cultural tourism resources, the innovation of structure and mechanism, the market orientation and the commitment as conditional.
