A Research On The Karst Rocky Desertification Tourism Pattern Building Under The Perspective Of The Symbiosis Theory

Karst rocky desertification is a kind of natural disaster with esthetic features of ecological tragedy. However, it’s also a kind of unique tourism resources featured as such scenic spots as economic fruit orchards landscape and terrace landscape transformed from slope formed in the process of comprehensive ecological control. Karst rocky desertification has its own value in scientific research, popular science education and agricultural leisure tourism. Sorting out and dealing with the relationship between tourism and rocky desertification control, while taking advantages of these precious tourism resources will not only benefit for development of tourism and rocky desertification control themselves, but also for exploring new type of economic development pattern.For a fairly long period, Desertification control is the major engineering measure for ecological reconstruction and restoration in the karst rocky desertification areas. There exist such disadvantages in the project as large investment, long yield cycle, unitary industry chain, so it can’t fully arouse the enthusiasm of people. However, tourism industry can serve as a strong industrial complementary function with this project in that it has many advantages such as small investment, short earnings cycle period, strong force of leading other industries, fully arousing the enthusiasm of people. Since the founding of new China, tourism industry has experienced a transition from the industry of foreign affairs reception to an economy trade then to an comprehensive industry. Some measures for environmental protection and poverty alleviations adopted by our country have enable tourism to bring obvious comprehensive benefits in ecological and environmental protection, tourism poverty alleviation and so forth in the vast karst rocky desertification areas. At mean time, the science and technology workers in this project are aware of the importance of the enthusiasm of the masses, transforming of some unreasonable people’s production and life style. They argue that environmental friendly ecological tourism and rural tourism be developed because they can not only rebuild and repair the fragile ecological environment, but can help reduce poverty of local residents and transform the traditional farming culture.Through analyzing the desertification control tourism development pattern with the symbiosis theory of Huajiang canyon demonstration area, this paper gets the results are as follows:(1) There are three main Karst rocky desertification travel patterns of comprehensive control in Huajiang canyon demonstration area: parasitic symbiosis, commensalism and mutualism. lacking of awareness the value of rocky desertification control tourism leads to single tourism product, few tourists, low community participation, little comprehensive benefit, unbalanced, discontinuous and unstable symbiotic pattern.(2) Based on Desertification Control and coordinated social and economic development, ecological, economic and social objectives of unity, multi-agent participation and benefit of the three basic principles, this paper builds a "four in one" Karst rocky desertification tourism symbiotic pattern. This paper also analyses the problems like symbiotic unit and the harmonious coexistence within the patterns, and provides a scientific basis for the tourism development in Karst Areas.(3) Symbiosis theory is applied to the study of the tourism in Karst rocky desertification areas in this paper. It has the significance of guiding the integration of the tourism and rocky desertification control in practice.
