| Agricultural mechanization means agricultural production changed from using hand tools, animal power tools to process using the machine widely.Yancheng is among the largest and the second largest population farm cities in Jiangsu. It is an important production base for grain and oil since time immemorial. Agriculture has a fundamental position in every national economy. Compared with South Jiangsu, development levels of agriculture in Yancheng are still backward. With the fast development of agriculture, building a new socialist countryside, pushing get-rich-quick forward, will turn into an important task. Without Farm mechanization, won’t have the agricultural modernization. We should realize the agricultural modernization above all. The development of agro-mechanization is an inevitable choice for balancing urban and rural development, promoting rural comfortable society building as well as solving the problem of agriculture, rural and farmers. Although Yangcheng’s agro-mechanization has made great progress in the new century, the levels still fall behind. How to seize the chances with the help of the national policies? We should adjust local conditions to develop vigorously new-type and high quality machines. We need to speed up the development of a new socialist countryside. To catch up with developed areas seems especially important and urgent.This paper reviews and analyzes the history and current situation of agricultural mechanization in developed countries, such as, America, Germany and Australia. Focus on their successful experience and analyze the achievements and the constraints of national and provincial agricultural mechanization in the past 60 years. We can learn some successful experience of the agricultural mechanization from the developed countries. To discuss the measures for the development of Yancheng’s agricultural mechanization in the new period based on national and provincial conditions.Secondly, a more comprehensive analysis of Yancheng agricultural mechanization development process, achievements, development characteristics, development constraints.Thirdly, suggestions are made about the development mode of Yancheng’s agricultural mechanization in the future, from the view point of system theory and the global perspective.1. Adhere to the mercerization principle, allocate resources by market. The legislation, taxation and demonstrative region construction have been heavily reliant on government support.2. We should continue to do well the work related to the traditional agriculture. Push forward research and development of new environmental protection, efficient, special and intelligent machines.3. Realize the promotion transformation and change from administrative services to the extension service.4. Improve the level of socialization service.Lastly, this thesis brings forward systematically six countermeasures, by using the knowledge of sociology, economics and management. They are:to promote balanced development of the agricultural mechanization must be guidance with scientific progress view and persist in overall consideration; grab seize opportunities, speed up the three changes with a new theory; try to set up rural land operation rights transfer system within the scope of the national policies; innovate capital input system of the agricultural mechanization, constantly improve diversified capital input systems of the agricultural mechanization; improve their quality and accelerate the surplus rural labor migration through various measures; establish and improve service system and increase efficiency.The study Methods:Were adopted literature review, comparing study and investigation. Make a complete analysis and a summary of the development condition of the agricultural mechanization in Yancheng. So provide the reference to government departments, when they devise a scheme for the development of the agricultural mechanization. And the thesis also provides a certain experiences for a health, rapid development of agricultural mechanization. |
