In 2013 the Ministry of Transport is proposed to speed up the maritime "Revolutionization, Regularization and Modernization" construction requirements, the all-round construction of the" Revolutionization, Regularization and Modernization "is to create people’s satisfaction of Fujian MSA long-term task. To promoting the construction of "modernization" is the need to strengthen the maritime supervision service of information-based construction of science and technology investment; Add the sea cruise boat construction; Expand the coverage of the vessel traffic system; Upgrading of the technological content of equipment facilities, improve the regulatory efficiency and service level, gradually realize from the "sweat maritime " to "smart maritime".This article first summarized the current situation of the development of Fujian MSA information management from the establishment of the information management system and supervision level, work efficiency, hardware equipment and personnel quality and so on several aspects of Fujian MSA. As you can see, Fujian MSA through the information management has made great progress, using informationization and VTS, VHF, CCTV and other advanced communications traffic equipment, formed a set to the waters of Fujian province in the navigation of ship, the crew and the navigation environment, water pollution and so on carries on the digital information management, service management system. But there is still more prominent problems:information collection and repeat rate is high, the staff application level is not high, the communication between departments, to a higher level of information disclosure, information technology level is low.To solve these problems, from the maritime management change, institutional setup and system reform, the establishment of the information management system, and analyzes the several aspects, such as maritime safety information management talents. Combining with the characteristics of Fujian MSA, this paper puts forward the targeted countermeasures and Suggestions:from the aspects of strengthen organizational leadership and perfect the institutions consolidate the basis of information management, from establishing the systems of information collection, information sharing, information security system and information disclosure system to build information management system, and also work through personnel training and performance evaluation measures to strengthen information management.
