Fuxian Lake in Yuxi city, Yunnan province, is the largest volume of fresh water lake, also is one of the sound ecological environment of the Lake. Since the 1980s, with the development of tourism and tourist resort, Fuxian Lake gradually shift from a traditional agricultural Lake to a tourism Lake, and produced some social problems in the process.This research focuses on studying from the angle of social exclusion, chooces 3 types of rural communities as the Basic research object, by way of questionnaires, to communities on the, get a total of 348 rural family unit samples data; Uses the quantitative statistical analysis and social network analysis method at the same time, according to "describes the phenomenon--design research plan-contrast the differences-measure the degree-analysis exclusion the mechanism" basic train of thought, to study the characteristics and mechanisms of social exclusion in the Fuxian Lake’s waterfront village under the background of tourism development.This study draws 4 major conclusions.(1) Building a social exclusion evaluation system for fuxian Lake’s waterfront village, which consists of 6 dimensions 23 measurement indicators, common involved residents’ material, right, and emotional aspects.(2) Summarise the basic features of social exclusion in fuxian Lake’s Waterfront rural communities. The social exclusion of strong tourism-effected type community mainly performance in 2 dimensions:the low degree of residents’community autonomy participation and the low degree of residents community fusion; The social exclusion of weak tourism-effected type community of social exclusion mainly performance in 3 dimensions: residents’obvious sence of production deprived, residents’low participation of public decision, and the low degree of residents’community autonomy participation; The social exclusion of none tourism-effected type community mainly performance in 4 dimensions: residents’limited production development, residents’weak paid capacity for basic needs, and residents’poor basic live conditions, and residents’low participation of public decision.(3) Analysis the differences of three types waterfront villages social exclusion in level, attributes, path. On the level of social exclusion, none tourism-effected community> weak tourism-effected community> strong tourism-effected community; on the property of social exclusion, strong tourism-effected community involes both rights and emotional exclusion, weak tourism-affected community mainly involves rights exclusion and supplemented by material exclusion; none tourism-affected communities mainly involves material exclusion and supplemented by rights exclusion. On social exclusion path, the strong tourism-effected community follows "inadequate participation of single impact of tourism" exclusive paths; weak tourism-effected community mainly follow the "deprivation and influences of ecological construction of tourism" exclusive paths; none tourism-effected community mainly follow the "single impact of eco-construction" the exclusion path.(4) Analysis the mechanism of fuxian Lake’s Waterfront social exclusion. Residents’ perception of tourism development benefit and ecological construction impact has a influence on social exclusion. Residents’perception of tourism development benefit has a regulatory role on residents’perception of ecological construction impact, which adjust the degree of social exclusion led to three community differences. The basic logic of social exclusion in Fuxian Lake Waterfront rural communities is, different subjects with different motives act different behaviours for pursuing different interests, in the game of intersts, Community residents become the object of social exclusion for their lack of political participation in decision-making, inadequate of interests distribution, and inadequate in social participation.
