With the progress of market economy in China, Chinese economy is in its transformation period. The industrialization and urbanization process are speeding up, while people have increasing pressure from work and life. Meanwhile, enterprises also face with more pressure, especially pressure that is related to human resource. Therefore, whether the department of human resource can fully release and exploit the talents of employees is the key for enterprises to have sustainable development in the future. Therefore, a set of effective, systematic and scientific motivation mechanism becomes an important tool to give full play to employees’ ’ talents and improve their work satisfaction. The design of motivation mechanism in enterprises shall consider about factors of human from below aspects: respect employees, cultivate talents, make career plans, explore potentiality, and create team cohesiveness etc. All these are important factors in human-oriented management. Therefore, it studies the motivation mechanism in ZHBD Company that adopts human-oriented management strategy on the purpose to help this company to set up a scientific and reasonable motivation mechanism and improve its level on human resource management.Firstly, an investigation on motivation mechanism in ZHBD Company and employees’ satisfaction has been made based on relevant theoretical basis. With in-depth analysis of investigation results, it turns out that ZHBD Company has many problems: shortage of employee motivation, ignorance of employees’ appeal, indifference to employees’ career plan, singularity of performance appraisal methods, and ignorance of the effect of non-material motivation etc. The discovered problems are caused by the shortage of human-oriented management concept. Therefore, a redesign on the motivation mechanism of ZHBD Company has been made based on relevant theories and methods of human-oriented management, characteristics and development direction of ZHBD from the aspects of reconstruction of talents motivation concept, design of motivation system, design of employees’ growth track, training motivation and participative management, and creation of team cohesiveness. Lastly, supporting measures for new motivation mechanism has been proposed from many aspects, namely, the cultivation human-oriented enterprise culture, the establishment of human-oriented management, the improvement of goal responsibility and appraisal system, and the establishment of motivation and appraisal system, so as to active employees’ working enthusiasm, improve their working ability, enhance team cohesiveness, discover talents and retain talents etc. Meanwhile, the study can also provide references for other similar companies in the design of motivation mechanism.
