Research On The Influence Of High Speed Railway On The Regional Economic Development Of Guangxi

No "traffic speed", No "economic speed".20 years ago, the old green trains can be seen everywhere in China; 10 years ago, the train speed to 160 km/hours; 8 years ago, the train can be speed up to 200 km/ hour. The development of high speed railway is a revolutionary transportation tool in the transportation industry, which changes the original transportation structure, changes people’s lives, and shortens the distance between China and the world. The high-speed railway has a profound and significant impact on the areas,and it promotes economic development along the line. From 2008, the Ministry of Railways announced the "medium and long term railway network planning," the implementation of the strategy, opened the era of high-speed railway in China. Development by the end of 2015, China now has more than 1.9 million kilometers of high-speed railway operating mileage, accounting for more than 60% of the world. Since the end of 2013, the development of Guangxi high-speed railway is only two or three years, mileage of more than 1600 km, marking the Guangxi has started to progress "high-speed rail era", which makes the Guangxi regional advantages, geographical advantages to further highlight, undertaking the transfer of industries, accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system, promoting the North Gulf Economic Zone to accelerate the development of Guangxi and the integration of urban and rural areas and less developed area take off deficient to become rich etc. It has important practical significance. And It will bring many challenges to Guangxi.In this paper, it is based on location theory, transportation Economic Belt, and other regional economic growth pole theory. And this paper analysis the economic impact of high-speed railway construction and operation to bring along the area, both direct and indirect impact of influence. Direct influence means to improve regional transportation environment, enhance the accessibility of the region; and indirect effects include stimulating the economy, promoting urbanization, increasing employment, optimize the industrial structure, to protect the environment. In the empirical part, it uses quantitative data to analyze the impact of high-speed railway on the regional economy. By with and without comparison method, taking the direct and indirect impact of High-railway on the Guangxi region. This thesis compares the changes in two cases of "with" and "without" high-speed railway in 2014. By analyzing specific impact indicators, comparative analysis of the impact of high-speed railway in Guangxi transportation conditions to improve the situation and to improve the accessibility, as well as on regional economic growth, industrial structure, employment, urbanization and environmental protection, etc.It will found that affect the high-speed railway construction and operation of the regional economy in Guangxi Province. This study concluded that the high-speed railway, mainly through improving transport conditions and regional accessibility both to the overall economic development of the region between the regions; moreover high-speed rail also play a positive role in optimizing industrial structure:affect regional economic development from the indirect connection, high-speed rail construction and operation to stimulate regional economic production and consumption, increased employment, advance urbanization,optimize industrial structure.
