In the era of knowledge economy, the competition between enterprises is becoming more and more fierce, and having a high-quality talent team can no doubt increase the competitive advantage for the enterprise. Staff training as an important means of training talents, has been paid more and more attention by the enterprise, in fact, many enterprises have won a certain competitive advantage for their own by scientific training. Therefore, staff training is of great significance to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, in other words, if the enterprise want to win the competitive advantage, it is necessary to build a scientific and perfect training system. W company is an enterprise which is specialized in designing and producing radiators. The problem caused by rapid growth for years is becoming increasingly apparent, such as serious internal staffs loss, lack of talents, high production cost,and all of them have been hampered by the company’s development. However, its construction of training system is still in the initial stage, which have many problems, so that it is unable to meet the current needs of the company. The purpose of this paper is taking the training system of W company as the research object, by analyzing training status of W company to put forward effective optimization strategy countermeasures,and finally to build an effective training system for it that can improve the quality of the training and could meet the needs of the company’s development.We first reviewed the theory of training, analyzing on the current situation of W company training system by questionnaire survey method and focus interview method, and obtained some problems in its training system: paying less attention to the training by managers, knowing little about the training by staff, training disconnecting with enterprise strategic, training needs analysis being untargeted, training plan being unreasonable, training effectiveness evaluation being weak, training responsibilities being unclear, low comprehensive quality of training lecturer, training course resources being insufficient, relevant training system being lacked; and these problems are classified into four aspects: training culture is weak; training resources is insufficient; training process is not standardized and the training system is not perfect. On this basis, using relevant training theory, combined with the actual situation of W company, respectively from the training of culture, resource layer, process layer, the system layer its training system has been optimized. At last, the paper briefly discusses the implementation of the optimization countermeasures.According to the analysis of this paper, there are lots of problems in W company’s current training system, and it is necessary to optimize its training system. Therefore, we should start from the W company’s reality, based on scientific training theory, and optimize its training system from the training culture layer, resource layer, process layer, system layer, finally to build a scientific and perfect training system which can improve the quality of training and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
