Empirical Research Of The Impacts Of Population Aging To Labor Supply In Xinjiang

Labor resource is an important indicator to measure a country’s labor supply, and has an important influence on the healthy operation of the economy. Abundant supply of labor is conducive to the development of economy, on the contrary, will restrict economic development. With the deepening of China’s population aging, the changing of the population structure is affecting the development trend of labor supply, study the effect of population aging on labor supply is of great significance.The degree of population aging in Xinjiang is slight, but development speed is high, compared with the national has its own obvious characteristics. In this paper, at first, describing the current situation of population structure and labor supply in Xinjiang, and compared with the national level, to analysis the cause of the changes and the development trends. From the concrete analysis to such as population structure type, the proportion of elderly people, social dependency ratio, labor participation rate in Xinjiang, aging population is growing rapidly in Xinjiang, social endowment burden is heavier, working age population is increasing, labor supply is relatively abundant, but with the population aging more and more serious, there is a risk of labor supply insufficient. Secondly, use multiple linear regression analysis method, grey correlation analysis method and direct standardization comparison method, to research the collected data. Analysis results show that the change of labor participation rate in Xinjiang under the influence of various factors, and, with the degree of population aging more serious, the elderly population proportion has more impacts on labor participation rate. Compared with other factors, it ranked in front. Through analysis the data of the fifth, sixth census data in Xinjiang, get the result on the degree of the impact, which from population aging towards the labor participation rate of gender and age group. An ageing population in a greater influence on the internal working age population, labor participation rate of the laborer who is younger than the age 45, is felled, while the labor participation rate of the laborer who is older than the age 45, is raised, total decline is 0.8%.According to the results of this analysis, this paper further summarizes the negative impacts of the population aging to the labor supply in Xinjiang. At the end of this paper, some suggestions and countermeasures are put forward, including: 1.Carrying out the population policy, perfecting social pension security system; 2. Increasing investment in human capital, improving the quality of the laborers; 3. Speeding up the industrial upgrading, adjusting the structure of employment; 4.
